The iSeries team has vast exposure to custom development, maintenance of legacy applications, package implementations, restructuring to new technologies, building web portals/front-ends, modernization and integration.

Technologies that iSeries team is adept at include RPG/400, COBOL/400, AS/SET, J2EE, WebSphere, MQ Series and Domino/Notes development environment. Our processes are geared towards offshore- based development with mature delivery models and a proven methodology.

ERP Product Support

Vritti has wide spread experience in Engineering, Pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. We offer ERP product support on MAPICS, BPCS, MOVEX and JDE. We have well established manufacturing ERP practice. We have as our clientele, several medium and large enterprises, including international corporations needing global support.

In most of our engagements, we have a small team deployed onsite who coordinate with a larger offshore team.
An obvious advantage to the customer is the flexibility of our offshore team who are amenable to working across time zones specific to customer locations.

Server Administration

We offer remote administration of iSeries Server. Routine activity of server administration is carried out with 24x7 support very cost effectively.

We have trained manpower on handling Operating System related issues. In off-site model this service is offered based on number of issues raised.

We offer, User management Application access control System log review Batch job monitoring Planning of Job Queues and subsystem Backups Power on-off schedule PTF, OS upgrades We use our own developed workflow management system from tracking and time logging.

iSeries Integration

We offer Intranet application development. Intranet application is to a larger extent seamlessly integrated with ERP database. We use MQ Series middle ware to achieve this. We have developed product for e-mailing iSeries spool file reports to internal or external users.

Vritti services on the intranet include:

Installation, configuration and programming on various platforms
Expertise in working with Version 2.0, 3.0, 3.02 and 3.5 of WebSphere Application Server
Java Swing/AWT, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages, Java Beans, EJB, Java RMI, IBM Toolbox for Java ERP Integration

We provide services to integrate ERP application with other application used in the organization. These applications can be on iSeries or Microsoft platform. This facilitates data integrity and productivity improvement in the organization.

Platform Migration

We undertake projects for migration of application from or to iSeries. Our understating of iSeries DB2/400 and application development environment and availability of skills on Microsoft and web technologies gives client advantage on both ends.

The projects are executed with more precision on terms of production delivery and project time line.
